Paul David's First Open House
Paul David's school had an Open House for the parents. It was adorable. They had lots of things hung up, and they encouraged the kids to show us what they played with. Too cute! He loves going to school, and I'm so thankful for that! His teachers are wonderful and there's about a million and one toys for him to play with! Plus they go above and beyond with their activities!

25 Weeks
Can you see that belly now??? I'm feeling the baby kick a lot now, especially when I lay down at night. At least the kicks are not hard enough to keep me awake...yet! I love those sweet baby kicks!

This is how I find Paul David every Monday. Sometimes he's asleep, but usually when he hears my voice he wakes up. Such a sweet time!

I got an e-mail from the people that I took the Photography class from last January that said former students were invited back to any class at no additional cost...oh, yeah! The best part was that Paul decided to go with me and take the class! It's kind of ironic that this is today's picture to illustrate taking the photography class, and it's the worst picture ever!

Paul David's Third Haircut
We got rid of the crazy today, but I know it will be back soon! Those curls were matting up something bad, so we let Lori give him a trim! He sat so well just like a big boy!

I think I've found a way to wake Paul David from a nap without tears. I get him a drink and snack and take it to him in bed. He wakes right up and is ready for a drink!

P.S. I've been playing with the ISO on my camera trying to see what I can get indoors without a flash. The picture above is even without any outside, natural light. It's not great, but it turned out okay, I thought. I'm going to try it this weekend with more natural lighting!

Night, Night Daddy!
Paul David's always been a mouth kisser...even when he was teeny, tiny! Every night he tells Daddy, "Night, Night Daddy!" and Daddy says, "What Else?" Paul David says, "I dee doh!" That's "I love you" in Paul David-ese! So sweet!

The Rocket's Game
Scott and Amanda invited us to the Rocket's Game, and we had AMAZING seats. We were in section 108, Row B...on the Floor! It was truly a once in a lifetime thing, and it was awesome!

A Day at the Zoo
Paul David was out of school today, as were the big kids, so Mimi took him, Uncle Justin, and his friend Sarah to the zoo! Look how cute they are!

After Paul David had gotten up this morning, he came to me and said, "Oh, no Mommy" and held his thumb up to me. It was so wrinkled; it was quite funny. I guess he had been sucking on it for quite awhile before he had gotten up.

Happy Valentine's Day!
We had a nice, quiet (well, as quiet as it can be with Paul David in the house) dinner at home to celebrate our Valentines. I made our favorite deep dish pizza added a little flair with the Parmesan cheese. It was YUM-O!

Paul David and I braved the rain and headed to The Children's Museum this morning. We had a great day together, and Paul David enjoyed playing with all the cool stuff there! We can't wait to go back again!

Macaroni and CHEESE!
Paul David's FINALLY started eating really well with a fork or spoon. There was a time when I thought he'd be 12 and still be shoveling food in with his hands, throwing the food everywhere and dumping his plate on the floor. Oh, the payback his daddy and I are plotting:)

Our Tuesday Picnic at the Park
Since we've started going to the park more, Paul David's started "asking" to go to the park more. I've been just packing up our lunch (notice his fish sandwich...two days now) and strolling on over there to eat it and let him play/run around awhile! It works great for us both!

Paul David had his Valentine Party at school today. He made this adorable Puffy Paint heart, got a heart sticker, a couple of Valentines from his class, and a sucker from his teachers. They sure know the way to his heart!

Another Day at the Park
We're living at the park with the beautiful weather we've been having these days! My mom and I took Paul David to play this morning while Daddy and Papa went shopping. Paul David had fun showing Nana his park!

We headed to the Humble ISD Rodeo tonight with Nana, Papa, Mimi, Paw Paw, and Uncle Justin! Paul David loved the "orseys" and "Bevos." We got to ride on the School Bus shuttle, which he thought was great! I hope he had fun because I really enjoy going, especially with my parents. Rodeos were such a big part of my childhood that I hope Paul David can enjoy it with my parents, too.

Paul David was invited to go to see the Harlem Globetrotters with Mimi, Paw Paw and Uncle Justin! I'm pretty sure he had a blast because he came in talking about it. He immediately told us he had seen the "Gwobe-twotterws" and the goals were high!

A Day At The Park
It was so pretty outside today. We packed a lunch and headed to the park. Paul David played and ran. He will only climb up the first couple of steps, then comes back down. He still won't go down the slide! Mr. Daredevil who will climb the back of our couch won't go down the slide...go figure!

Daddy's Airplane
Paul David got some airplanes for Christmas and one of them was a Continental airplane. I always point out the Continental planes when we're out and see one flying in the air, and I kind of remember maybe saying, "Daddy flies on one of those airplanes!" So, he has either remembered that or came up with it on his own, but this airplane (and only this plane) is Daddy's Airplane!

Lily came over with Mimi this morning (while Foster went to the doctor). Paul David lit up when she came in! They enjoyed riding on the train together, then playing with all of the toys and outside!

When we got home from Mom's Day Out, Paul David dropped the Lovey he'd been using all day and ran and grabbed this one. He said, "Another One Lovey!" He hugged and kissed on it, then of course stuck his thumb in his mouth and loved Another One Lovey the way Paul Davids should love a Lovey! So Sweet!

Our Super Bowl Treat
We treated ourselves to McDonald's 50 McNuggets for $10 tonight and made some homemade fries to go with them. YUMMY! This is the only time I ever eat those nuggets, but they're always pretty good! Oddly enough, Paul David's really had no interest in the game tonight...hmmm!

Batter, Batter...SWING!
With the Super Bowl tomorrow and the end of football season, Paul David's gearing up for the next season...BASEBALL SEASON! We're all sure wishing we were getting ready to head to Spring Training, but we'll just have to watch the few games on TV and look forward to April when the games will begin in full force!
